For thirty-one years—from Spring 1984 through Spring 2015—Inquiring Mind was a donation-supported, semiannual print journal dedicated to the creative transmission of Buddhadharma to the West.

Following the publication of our final issue, Inquiring Mind ‘s staff began the lengthy process of archiving all sixty-two issues, with the goal of making all of Inquiring Mind’s original essays, interviews, reviews, poems & “not poems” freely accessible to readers old and new. Initial funding came from bequest from Ruth Denison as well as contributions from meditation centers, our readers, and an anonymous donor.

The most recent six issues, along with selected articles from earlier years, are now available in the archive.

To all past, present and future readers and supporters: Thank you!  With your help, we will complete the work of adding decades of dharma to Inquiring Mind Archive.
